UV-6020 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer

UV-6020: An Expanded Model Balancing Flexibility and Functionality The UV-6020 offers a broad wavelength range of 190 nm to 1200 nm, low stray light, and low noise levels, making it competitive with many higher-priced UV-Vis and UV-Vis-NIR instruments. It features a continuously adjustable slit width from 0.5 nm to 3.0 nm. As a true dual-beam instrument, it is well-suited for both routine laboratory work and more advanced applications extending into the near-infrared (NIR) region. The system supports a variety of accessories, including sample changers, autosamplers, semiconductor Peltier or water bath temperature controllers, and reflectance integrating spheres capable of measurements up to 1150 nm. The UV-6020 delivers maximum flexibility and powerful performance.

True Dual-Beam Optical System: Delivers exceptional long-term stability and ensures highly accurate measurement results.

Innovative Optical Design: Provides reliable and stable performance even with micro-liter sample volumes, meeting all performance specifications. The UV software's Automatic System Performance Validation module easily complies with IQ/OQ requirements, multiple pharmacopoeias, and other performance standards.

Versatile Application Modules: Supports diverse workflows including routine testing, quantitative analysis, system validation, color analysis, kinetics/time studies, and DNA melting analysis through dedicated software packages.

High-Speed Scanning without Distortion: Advanced engineering enables scanning at speeds up to 10,000 nm/min without spectral deformation, completing full-range scans up to 100 times faster than conventional instruments.

Low Stray Light with Holographic Grating: Proprietary holographic grating ensures minimal stray light, maintaining excellent photo-metric accuracy across a wide absorbance range. The UV-6020 accurately measures samples up to 3 Abs.

Enhanced Detector Stability: Measures and corrects detector dark current twice per chopper rotation, eliminating errors from dark current drift and improving measurement stability and linearity.
