Determination of sulfur, iron, aluminum and other elements in coal gangue by ICP
Release Date :2025-08-12

Coal gangue is the solid waste discharged in the process of coal mining and coal washing. Due to the large amount of coal gangue produced during the washing process of raw coal, environmental problems such as land, water resources and air pollution are caused. In order to rationally utilize and deal with coal gangue and reduce its pollution to the environment, it is necessary to determine the content of sulfur, iron, aluminum and other elements in coal gangue. First, the sulfur element in coal gangue is easy to form compounds such as sulfate after contact with air and water, which further leads to environmental pollution. Secondly, iron element is an important part of coal gangue and has a great influence on the physical and chemical properties of coal gangue. Determination of iron content helps to understand the material composition of coal gangue and provides data support for the resource utilization of coal gangue. At the same time, studying the content of beneficial elements such as calcium and magnesium in coal gangue can provide more basis for the resource utilization of coal gangue. Attachment download
